Business Development

How long have you been with Human Resource Management (HRM) and what are your responsibilities?

I joined Human Resource Management (HRM) in 2009 and my main area of responsibility is business development – ensuring we are finding the best opportunities for our candidates and providing the highest quality service to our clients.

What’s your background prior to joining Human Resource Management (HRM) ?

I started working for one of the larger pharmaceutical company's straight from University– initially in sales before gaining experience in HR and training. Then a move to one of the other CSOs in 2003 gave me experience of the service sector and a taste for recruitment. Prior to joining Human Resource Management (HRM) , I also spent time working for a pharmaceutical recruitment agency. Having been both 'a candidate' and 'client' in my career I feel well placed to understand the needs of our customers and able to apply this knowledge when looking for the best people solutions for them.

What do you see as the opportunities for Human Resource Management (HRM) over the next 5 years?

As the market continues to undergo significant change, new opportunities are opening up for Human Resource Management (HRM) and I envisage the next few years being a very exciting time. We have already seen a move away from traditional headcount recruitment towards more flexible people solutions and I envisage this will remain a major opportunity for us. As currently the UK's fastest growing CSO, I would like to think we will continue to grow our CSO business whilst maintaining our reputation for focussing on helping people find the right next career move for them.

What makes Human Resource Management (HRM) different to other providers of People Solutions?

I think that what makes Human Resource Management (HRM) different is our approach to our candidates, contractors and clients and our ability to listen and tailor to their needs. Since 1998 Human Resource Management (HRM) has worked hard to provide NOT what we think the market wants, BUT to provide exactly what the market asks for. We try always to go the extra mile to ensure that everyone that encounters Human Resource Management (HRM) , for whatever reason, goes away with a 'positive experience'. It is this consistent and professional approach that I think sets Human Resource Management (HRM) apart from other providers of people solutions.
