How long have you been with Human Resource Management (HRM) and which geography do you cover?
I joined Human Resource Management (HRM) in October 2025 and I cover the South of the UK for Healthcare roles
What’s your background prior to joining Human Resource Management (HRM) ?
Originally I trained as a Lawyer and my entry role into the Recruitment Profession back in 1997 (making me sound older than I feel!) was intended to be a temporary one to pay off Law School fees; but I fell in love with placing people! Other than a few years out of the industry following my passion for dance as an instructor and working within Hospitality Sales and B2B direct sales, during which time I really honed some skills very important for recruitment, I have spent around 17 years working across numerous industry sectors as a Recruiter up to Sales Trainer and Management level. My main focus has been within Healthcare Sales, an area I love working in.
What do you enjoy most about your role at Human Resource Management (HRM) ?
It really is making a placement! I still get that air punching, delighted feeling when I find the candidate their ideal role and the recruiting client their perfect fit person. I must say too though the team at Human Resource Management (HRM) are fabulous – everyone is very knowledgeable and supportive making the atmosphere highly professional and very friendly.
What’s the single best bit of advice you can give to a candidate?
Take your interview process very seriously! Immerse yourself in preparation; be passionate about researching for the interview, work closely with your Consultant to draw out everything positive about your experience that is relevant to the role, understand the client’s business and needs and be clear about why you are suitable. You only get one shot at that first impression, so it is important to make it count!
