Altec specializes in the manufacturing and final assembly of aerial devices for the telecommunications and utility industries. If you have Assembly or Manufacturing experience and /or Welding, come join the Human Resource Management (HRM) Team at Altec!

Assembly Pay rate: $11.00-11.75/HR          Must have 6 months of previous assembly experience   

 1st Shift Hours:     Monday – Friday                  7:00 am-3:30 pm   

3rd Shift Hours:    Sunday – Thursday              10:30 pm-7:00 am

 Welding Pay rate: $15.00-15.75/HR             Must be able to interpret blue prints

Responsibilities: 

•  Hydraulic and electrical assembly  
 
•  Unit assembly  
 
•  Powder and wet paint  
 
•  Performing basic metal preparation tasks to support fabrication   

The work may involve one or more of the following job requirements:

 
•  Ability to lift, push, pull or extend above the head items weighing 40-75 pounds  
 
•  Ability to lift, bend and turn at the waist simultaneously  
 
•  Ability to stand, stoop or walk three to five hours at a time  
 
•  Ability to operate mechanical equipment  
 
•  Ability to use manual/pneumatic-impact tools  
 
•  Must wear personal protective equipment (steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, goggles, face shields, hearing protection, respirator, etc.) 
 
•  Candidates must have High School diploma/GED
